Logitech VX Revolution Review

(*est. $45) Compare Prices

This page is part of a larger ConsumerSearch report on Computer Mice and Trackballs which includes more reviews, analysis and a summary of the top-rated models.

What the reviewers like:
According to reviews, the wireless Logitech VX Revolution provides excellent precision and control. Wireless range is great and battery life is extraordinary. The VX Revolution includes a compartment to store the USB receiver, which enhances portability. Ergonomics are good; reviewers like the shape, side grips and location of buttons. Reviewers commend features, including the three-way scroll wheel, easy-gliding feet, zoom and search buttons and customizability via the software.

What the reviewers don't like:
The Logitech VX Revolution portable cordless mouse is only comfortable for right-handers. The wheel is less functional than the one on the MX Revolution. The VX is large -- perhaps too large -- for a notebook mouse. It's also expensive.

Logitech VX Revolution review highlights

The Logitech VX Revolution is a top-of-the-line cordless laptop mouse. However, it is also the largest laptop mouse currently available. Because of that, some people may find it only marginally portable, while others will prefer it as a desktop mouse over its sibling, the larger Logitech MX Revolution (*est. $70). Despite this, reviewers conclude that the Logitech VX Revolution is the best laptop mouse overall.

We found many reviews of the Logitech VX Revolution cordless laser mouse, which is a smaller portable version of the highly rated Logitech MX Revolution. ExtremeTech.com and SharkyExtreme.com both regularly review mice and subject them to lengthy real-world testing. Most of these reviews include photos and screen shots that give prospective buyers an excellent idea of what using the mouse is like.
