What the reviewers like:
The 32-inch Sony BRAVIA KDL-32S2400 delivers great image quality overall. Performance with HD signals and DVD sources is excellent, and standard definition TV programming looks very good in tests. The remote control has been described as very good. This Sony LCD TV includes a QAM capable digital tuner for viewing unscrambled HD cable without a cable box. Overall, critics say this is a great LCD TV, though its price doesn't compare well to the competition.

What the reviewers don't like:
The Sony BRAVIA KDL-32S2400 is relatively expensive -- other models performing nearly as well cost less -- in some cases much less. Connectivity is not particularly generous and includes just one HDMI input. Price is the main drawback here.

Professional and user reviews of the 32-inch Sony BRAVIA KDL-32S2400 say it delivers some of the best images of any 32-inch LCD HDTV. Performance with HD and DVD sources has been described as excellent, and standard definition performance stacks up very well. However, the TV is expensive compared to others in its size class. The 32-inch Syntax-Brillian Olevia 532H (*est. $700), for example, doesn’t do as well in black levels or shadow detail as the Sony BRAVIA KDL-32S2400, but it does deliver a picture that’s called pleasing overall, with great color, and it costs far less.

Consumer Reports is the best site for a comparative review of the 32-inch Sony BRAVIA KDL-32S2400. The magazine's editors report on 67 LCD TVs for its latest update, assigning numerical scores and rankings in a number of areas, as well as an overall rating that makes it easy to see which LCD TVs are considered best. Although editors don't describe the TV in much detail, this was one of the few professionally prepared reviews we found for the Sony BRAVIA KDL-32S2400. There has not been a great deal of user feedback on the Sony KDL-32S2400, but some comments can be found at AVSForum.com and at Amazon.com.

Consumer Reports' editors include the Sony BRAVIA KDL-32S2400 in a test with 66 other LCD televisions in a variety of sizes. According to the magazine, LCD televisions now have improved viewing angles and fewer issues with reflections and glare than plasma sets, but they don't display deep blacks as well. Consumer Reports' rankings are based on extensive testing, but unfortunately, editors don’t say much about each model aside from assigning ratings.
