What the reviewers like:
Reports say that the 26-inch RCA L26WD26D TV-DVD combo delivers great bang for the buck. Picture quality is very good. This TV-DVD combo is easy to set up and use. The digital ATSC tuner is QAM compatible so it can receive non-scrambled digital cable stations and won't become obsolete when over-the-air analog broadcasting ends in Feb. 2009.

What the reviewers don't like:
Sound quality is described by many as being poor, with buzzing a frequent complaint. There is a long delay when changing channels. The remote control is on the small side, with small buttons that some find difficult to use.

The 26-inch RCA L26WD26D TV-DVD combo gets lots of user reviews and fairly high marks. It is a widescreen LCD HDTV with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Value is the L26WD26D's biggest plus, though most owners seem reasonably pleased with the picture quality as well. Sound is a sore spot, and with just one HDMI input, expansion possibilities are limited. Features are sparse, and the built-in DVD player can't upconvert DVDs to HD resolution. If you have a bigger budget, the 26-inch Toshiba REGZA 26LV47 (*est. $650) is also worth considering. Toshiba REGZA TV-DVD combos score well with users, and are relatively feature rich. Positives include an upconverting (to 720p) DVD player and better connectivity, including 3 HDMI inputs, but it costs more.

The write-ups themselves are generally short, but there are sub ratings for picture, sound, value and more, including an important "Meets Expectations" rating. Reviewers also provide information about themselves, how long they've used a product, and whether or not they would recommend it.
