Reviewers report that the 32-inch Toshiba REGZA 32LV67U TV-DVD combo has a great picture, great sound and is easy to use. The upconverting integrated DVD player maximizes the quality of standard definition DVDs.

What the reviewers don't like:
Like many digital TVs, the 32-inch Toshiba REGZA 32LV67U TV-DVD combo performs better with digital cable and over-the-air signals than with analog TV signals. The remote control is not backlit. Some report a small lag when changing channels.

The Toshiba REGZA 32LV67U is a 32-inch TV-DVD combo that garners lots of positive comments. The TV is a widescreen HDTV with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, and the DVD player can upconvert standard-definition DVDs to HD resolution (720p). Three HDMI inputs and a digital audio output highlight a connectivity package that's more generous than competing TV-DVD combos. Other features include a CineSpeed display with a fast response time that's perfect for watching high-action images and StableSound, which evens out volume levels between different types of programming. The 32-inch RCA L32WD26D (*est. $685) is another consideration at this screen size; the RCA TV-DVD combo has fewer features, and we've seen some complaints about the sound quality, but the picture is widely regarded as excellent.

User reviews at Amazon.com provide the best insight for the 32-inch Toshiba REGZA 32LV67U (*est. $760), a combination TV-DVD player. Amazon.com is easy to use and provides great tools, such as a box that posts the most helpful favorable and critical reviews of the Toshiba REGZA 32LV67U side by side. Pricegrabber.com doesn't have quite as many reviews, but does require reviewers to provide succinct summaries of the TV-DVD combo's strengths and weaknesses. CNet.com isn't terribly useful in learning about Toshiba TV-DVD combo. The site provides a software generated "product brief" in place of a professional review, and there was just one user-written review at the time of our last visit.
