This page is part of a larger ConsumerSearch report on Double Strollers which includes more reviews, analysis and a summary of the top-rated models.

What the reviewers like:
Aside from its platform for toddlers to stand on, reviewers praise the Joovy Caboose Stand-On Tandem's sturdy frame, fully reclining seat, and compatibility with a large number of infant car seats. This type of stroller is less bulky than a traditional double stroller.

What the reviewers don't like:
Some owners say the Joovy Caboose Stand-On Tandem is heavy, at 24 pounds, and the high handlebars may be uncomfortable for short parents. Also, there's no way to stop a toddler from jumping off the platform, which can make for some very difficult excursions. A few parents comment that the stroller’s seat does not recline flat enough for newborns.

Joovy Caboose Stand-On Tandem review highlights

Overall, experts and owners are very pleased with the Joovy Caboose Stand-On Tandem, saying it offers a unique solution to parents of two kids: The younger child sits in the seat, while the toddler (at least 2½ years old and no more than 40 inches tall) stands on a platform on back. This stroller has a fully reclining seat and will accommodate an infant carrier, but some parents complain about its 24-pound weight -- and that's without two kids piled on. The Baby Trend Sit N Stand (*est. $130) offers a similar design.
