Owners and experts praise the Maclaren Twin Techno for its fully reclining seat, relatively light (26-pound) weight for a double stroller, and narrow frame that can fit through 30-inch doorways. They also say it's durable and easy to maneuver.

What the reviewers don't like:
Some parents dislike the lack of a child tray, saying it can make a small child seem too exposed. Also, some owners report difficulty folding this twin stroller. You can’t snap car seats into the Maclaren Twin Techno, and some say this stroller is overpriced.

Maclaren Twin Techno review highlights

The 26-pound Maclaren Twin Techno is a side-by-side double stroller with umbrella-style handles, padded shoulder harnesses, infant head-snugger padding, shock-absorbing wheels and removable bottle holders. Parents like the Twin Techno's ability to fit through a 30-inch doorway, and most say it feels durable and easy to maneuver, even when the two kids differ in weight. The seats are fully reclining, but since there's no front child tray, some consider this stroller a bit too exposed for an infant. Among side-by-side strollers, we found the best reviews for the lower-priced Inglesina Twin Swift (*est. 250), which is a bit heavier than the Twin Techno but similar in size and maneuverability.

The Maclaren Twin Techno is evaluated in the popular book Baby Bargains by Denise & Alan Fields and several owners posting reviews to Amazon.com and Epinions. Unfortunately, the Twin Techno has yet to be reviewed by other professional sources such as Consumer Reports or StrollersAndPrams.com.
