True to its name, the Mountain Buggy Terrain is praised for its suitability to all terrains, and also for its durability and relatively light 22-pound weight. Its fully reclining seat is a plus.

What the reviewers don't like:
Some say the Mountain Buggy Terrain can be hard to maneuver as a child gets older, a complaint that's common among this type of three-wheeled stroller. This stroller's rubber wheels are also susceptible to flats.

Mountain Buggy Terrain review highlights

Although we didn't find many reviews for the Mountain Buggy Terrain, we did find a large number of ratings for the similar Mountain Buggy Urban Single (*est. $430). The biggest difference between the two is that the Terrain has a fixed front wheel, while the similar Urban has a lockable, swiveling front wheel. Reviewers say this type of locking front wheel offers the most flexibility -- parents can use the swivel wheel for easier maneuvering in stores, but lock the wheel for better off-road walks. However, if you know you prefer a fixed front wheel, the Mountain Buggy Terrain gets good reviews and is about $70 less expensive than the Urban. Owners praise the Mountain Buggy Terrain for its maneuverability over all terrains. Its fully-reclining seat makes it fine for use with newborns. The Baby Trend Expedition (*est. $100) is also a three-wheeled stroller, and though less expensive, reviews also say it's not as durable as Mountain Buggy strollers.

We were unable to find any professional reviews of the three-wheeled Mountain Buggy Terrain all-terrain stroller, but the quality of the owner reviews we found on the web more than makes up for this. The Mountain Buggy Terrain is the subject of in-depth user comments at JoggingStroller.com and StrollersAndPrams.com, and is also discussed by a persuasive parent at the Australian site BubHub.com.au.

A mother of two kids, goes into great depth about the pros and cons of the Mountain Buggy Terrain. She likes its sturdiness and durability (she says she used it for four months in Malaysia and Thailand), but says her biggest problem was its weight. She also says the air-filled wheels are prone to flats.
