Mountain Buggy Urban Single Review

(*est. $430) Compare Prices

This page is part of a larger ConsumerSearch report on Jogging Strollers which includes more reviews, analysis and a summary of the top-rated models.

What the reviewers like:
The Mountain Buggy Urban Single is praised for its light weight (for an all-terrain stroller), easy maneuverability, and off-road ability. Owners and experts agree that it's dependable and durable. Although it's pricey, it's the highest-rated three-wheeled stroller overall.

What the reviewers don't like:
If you don't plan on off-road hikes or long neighborhood walks, the pricey Mountain Buggy Urban (along with most three-wheeled strollers) doesn't make a lot of sense. Although reviewers say it's better than others, this type of all-terrain stroller isn't as practical as a standard stroller for maneuvering in stores, plus it's bulky and takes up a lot of trunk space.

Mountain Buggy Urban Single review highlights

Although it's expensive, reviewers say the three-wheeled Mountain Buggy Urban all-terrain stroller is excellent on trails, gravel or sidewalks (it’s not meant for jogging). Its swiveling front wheel makes for easier maneuvering, but the wheel can be locked for better off-road stability. The 22-pound Mountain Buggy Urban has a height-adjustable handle and big storage basket. What sets it apart from most other three-wheeled strollers is its fully reclining seat, which makes it appropriate for newborns. Although strollers like the In Step Safari (*est. $130), the Mountain Buggy Urban is the highest-rated all-terrain stroller.

The Mountain Buggy Urban Single is reviewed thoroughly by three outstanding sources: Consumer Reports, Baby-Gaga.com and StrollersAndPrams.com, which all test out this three-wheeled all-terrain stroller. The Mountain Buggy Urban is also discussed by a handful of owners posting to Epinions, and is discussed in the popular baby-gear book Baby Bargains.
