Zooper Zydeco Review

(*est. $525) Compare Prices

This page is part of a larger ConsumerSearch report on Jogging Strollers which includes more reviews, analysis and a summary of the top-rated models.

What the reviewers like:
Parents say the relatively expensive Zooper Zydeco jogging stroller has adequate storage space, with a reversible forward- or rear-facing seat, lots of standard accessories, an easily adjustable handlebar and an attractive, comfortable seat. Plus, the Zooper Zydeco’s fully reclining seat makes it appropriate for newborns.

What the reviewers don’t like:
Sources agree that the Zooper Zydeco is heavy and bulky compared to other three-wheeled strollers and that the Zydeco can be hard to push at times. This stroller has no cup holder, and a few owners say they’ve had difficulty tightening straps and using the reversible seat function with older children. However, the biggest drawback cited in reviews is the Zooper Zydeco stroller's high price.

Zooper Zydeco review highlights

Reviewers say the three-wheeled, all-terrain Zooper Zydeco jogging stroller is a very good luxury stroller overall, but it ultimately loses the race due to its heavy, 28-pound frame. High points in reviews are seating versatility and smooth ride, along with a large storage compartment, swivel wheels and fully reclining seat. Some parents say the Zooper Zydeco jogging stroller can be more difficult to push with one hand than the Phil & Ted's e3 three-wheeled stroller (*est. $380). Weight and size remain big issues; users suggest the Zooper Zydeco is best left unfolded in a garage or other storage area.

Editors of JoggingStroller.com

JoggingStroller.com is a nicely organized site that features lots of specifications and some reviews. Overall, editors are pleased with the Zooper Zydeco, citing its locking, front-swivel wheels and its great accessories, including a rain cover and bug screen. Although the Zooper Zydeco is described as the "Cadillac of all-terrain swivel-wheel strollers," this comment cuts two ways, as the editors also say the Zydeco's weight is a major disadvantage.
