This page is part of a larger ConsumerSearch report on Full-Featured Strollers which includes more reviews, analysis and a summary of the top-rated models.

What the reviewers like:
Parents appreciate the Graco MetroLite’s light frame and compatibility with car seats, and they say its compact fold and easy maneuvering make it simple to use and store. Also earning points are this stroller’s attractive fabric choices, parent and child tray features, large basket and height adjustment feature.

What the reviewers don’t like:
Some parents report that the Graco MetroLite isn’t as sturdy as it could be over the long term, with reports of wheels squeaking and breaking after extended use. Many owners wish this stroller included a reversible handle, and some say it takes two hands to fold down.

Graco MetroLite review highlights

The Graco MetroLite is a compact stroller designed to compete with full-size models by offering many of the same features, but at a lower weight and price tag. Parents say the MetroLite works well on smooth sidewalks and in malls, but not as well on rough terrain. The 17-pound frame is reasonably lightweight, and the Graco MetroLite is easy enough to fold. We found some complaints about durability over the long run, and some parents say that pushing this stroller requires two hands. Overall, the Graco MetroLite gets solidly average reviews.

As usual with strollers, we found the best reviews of the Graco MetroLite at three online sources: BabyBargains.com (the web companion to the popular book of the same name), Baby-Gaga.com (whose editors test strollers for durability and invite comments from parents) and Epinions (a user review site). Unfortunately, Consumer Reports has yet to evaluate the MetroLite stroller.
