Graco Mosaic Review

(*est. $100)

This page is part of a larger ConsumerSearch report on Umbrella Strollers which includes more reviews, analysis and a summary of the top-rated models.

What the reviewers like:
Parents like the fact that the Graco Mosaic stroller is lightweight and easy to maneuver. It's also narrower than many strollers, making it a good pick for crowded stores and sidewalks. In addition, owners say the Mosaic’s harness system and recline positions are easy to use. The low price is a plus.

What the reviewers don’t like:
According to owners, the Graco Mosaic isn't appropriate for rough terrain, and some say it isn't easy to steer this stroller with one hand. As with other Graco stroller models, several parents report problems with wheels wearing down and squeaking over time. Overall, parents are less positive about the Graco Mosaic stroller than professional reviewers.

Graco Mosaic review highlights

The Graco Mosaic umbrella stroller earns mixed reviews from parents and professional reviewers. Interestingly, a highly credible professional reviewer recommends the Graco Mosaic as a best buy. But parents posting to user-review websites are more lukewarm in their evaluations, citing squeaky wheels and a rough ride on some surfaces. On the other hand, reviewers like this stroller’s narrow build, light weight and front swiveling wheels. Some parents also say its large basket compares favorably to the competition.

We found the most credible review for the Graco Mosaic umbrella stroller at a British review publication that tests the Mosaic along with over fifty other strollers for ease of use, maneuverability and more. We also found parent-written reviews for the Mosaic at Amazon.com and Target.com. Consumer Reports has not included this model in its tests so far.

Which? magazine is the British equivalent of Consumer Reports, but testing here is actually more detailed, and about sixty strollers are tested overall. Editors and testers are impressed with the Graco Mosaic stroller. Despite its smallish wheels, it handles well. The short list of demerits includes an average storage system and handles described by some users as uncomfortable.

Dozens of parents weigh in on the Graco Mosaic, complimenting its ease of turning and pushing, lightweight frame and full recline. They also say that it’s a good choice for quick errands and navigating smooth surfaces -- some even choose it over more expensive brands. However, owners acknowledge that it’s not easy to steer this stroller with one hand and that it has an inadequate sun canopy. There are also reports of squeaky wheels and tires wearing down over time.
