What the reviewers like:
According to early reviews, the Inglesina Trip umbrella stroller is a simple, lightweight (14 pound) umbrella stroller that steers well. It wheels are a bit larger than those on similar umbrella strollers, and some reviewers say that makes for a smoother ride. What the reviewers don't like: The handles on the Inglesina Trip might be a little tall for some parents. It doesn't include a rain cover, an included accessory on competing Maclaren umbrella strollers. Inglesina Trip review highlights The Inglesina Trip is one of several lightweight umbrella strollers trying to challenge the leader in this area, Maclaren. At about 14 pounds, the Trip sits somewhere between the highly rated Maclaren Triumph (*est. $150) and more expensive Maclaren Quest (*est. $200), which adds a window in the hood and some reflective accents. Right now, there isn't much reviewer feedback on the Inglesina Trip, and no reviewer compares it to either Maclaren stroller. Inglesina has a good reputation for durability, but so does Maclaren. Both Maclaren strollers include a rain cover, an optional accessory for the Inglesina Urbe. While it's received some glancing comments, the Inglesina Trip umbrella stroller has yet to be the subject of a formal, thorough evaluation, unless you count the "expert review" at ConsumerGuide.com, much of which reads as if it was taken from Inglesina's marketing materials. The Trip does get some mentions on a user forum at Baby-Gaga.com and at Amazon.com, and is described (but not tested) by the popular baby-gear book, Baby Bargains.
