Zooper Twist Review

(*est. $180) Compare Prices

This page is part of a larger ConsumerSearch report on Umbrella Strollers which includes more reviews, analysis and a summary of the top-rated models.

What the reviewers like:
Parents praise the Zooper Twist for its large sunshade, easy-to-pull leg rest, large seat, generous rain hood, sturdiness and ease of steering. Most say this stroller is lightweight considering its features. The Twist’s seat has a four-position recline.

What the reviewers don't like:
One parent recommends the Zooper Twist only for short excursions, saying its suspension isn't comfortable enough for long walks. This stroller’s seat can’t fully recline, making it inappropriate for newborns. Also, the Twist lacks a cup holder and has only a small amount of storage.

Zooper Twist review highlights

Based on the reviews we found online, parents are very fond of the Zooper Twist, which is a bit heavier (14 pounds) than simpler umbrella strollers but also has more features. Unlike most umbrella strollers, the Twist folds from top to bottom. Intended for children 6 months or older, the Twist has a large seat with four-position recline (but it's not fully reclining). Parents say it is sturdy, easy to steer, and attractive. The large sunshade, generous-sized rain hood, and easy-to-pull leg rest are also appreciated. The Zooper Twist is very similar to the Maclaren Quest (*est. $200), although its price falls between the Quest and the Maclaren Triumph (*est. $150). For parents who want a stroller that’s a bit more full-featured yet still lightweight, the Twist is worth a test drive.

Although it hasn't yet been reviewed by expert sources such as Consumer Reports or Baby-Gaga.com, the Zooper Twist umbrella stroller does receive some fairly thorough evaluations from a handful of parents posting to the sites Celebrity Baby Blog, Baby-Gaga.com, Amazon.com and Epinions.
