Image 15.5 S Review(*est. $400) Compare PricesYou are here: Health & Fitness >> Treadmills >> Image 15.5 SThis page is part of a larger ConsumerSearch report on Treadmills which includes more reviews, analysis and a summary of the top-rated models.
What the reviewers like:
The Image 15.5S treadmill has a powerful (for its price class) 2.5-hp motor, as well as a 10% incline and four preset weight-loss programs. What the reviewers don't like: The Image 15.5S treadmill's unusually small belt (only 50" x 17") may make it difficult for taller individuals to walk comfortably. As with other treadmills in this price range, experts warn that a treadmill this inexpensive can't take a pounding. Image 15.5 S review highlights Reviewers are mixed about the virtues of the Image 15.5S treadmill. Editors at TreadmillDoctor.com are normally acerbic about budget-priced machines, saying the Image 15.5S is "not a bad choice if you have a very limited budget and plan to baby it." However, they rate this treadmill below average for walking area, reliability and warranty coverage. ExerciseEquipmentExpert.com praises the Image 15.5's motor, incline and preset programs, but says the deal breaker is its unusually small (50" x 17") belt and short warranty of 90 days on labor and most parts. We were able to find only two reviews of the Image 15.5S treadmill, but they're both from reliable sources that evaluate the positives and negatives of dozens of treadmills: TreadmillDoctor.com and ExerciseEquipmentExpert.com.
