What the reviewers like:
Experts agree that the ProForm 645 represents an improvement over past ProForm budget treadmills.

What the reviewers don't like:
As improved as it may be, the ProForm 645 still suffers from an underpowered motor, small walking area of 50" x 19" and general quality issues. The short 90-day warranty is also a sticking point in reviews.

ProForm 645 review highlights

Reviews say the ProForm 645 treadmill represents an improvement in quality over other budget ProForm treadmill. However, the short 90-day warranty is still a sore spot with experts, who also criticize this treadmill's lack of power, small walking area (50" x 19") and general quality.

Only two sources review the ProForm 645 treadmill in any depth, TreadmillDoctor.com and TreadmillTalk.com, which each discuss the pluses and minuses of various budget treadmills. Unfortunately, no owners have posted comments about the ProForm 645 to sites like Amazon.com, Epinions or Sears.com, and this treadmill hasn't been tested or rated by Consumer Reports.

ProForm 645 Review
Clark & Jon Stevenson

"A better effort but still needs a bit of work" is the terse review of the ProForm 645 offered here. This treadmill's walking area, power and quality all receive below-average grades, as does its 90-day warranty coverage.

2. TreadmillTalk.com
The ProForm 645 Treadmill
Editors of TreadmillTalk.com

Although the editors of this site say the ProForm 645 seems to be a step up from previous ProForm treadmills -- which have been criticized for their quality -- they're reluctant to give it an unqualified endorsement, calling attention to its underpowered motor and short warranty. They say a better ProForm choice would be the ProForm CrossWalk.
