Air-Purifiers-America.com says this is a quiet, nice looking machine, but we found little in the way of positive performance data.

What the reviewers don’t like:
Design and noise aside, Air-Purifiers-America.com rates the BioTech EdenPURE Area Air Purifier dead last in its ability to remove pollutants from air, and its editors warn against using the ozone setting.

Biotech EdenPURE Area Air Purifier review highlights

On its website, Biotech claims the EdenPURE Area Air Purifier uses four separate electronic mechanisms to remove pollutants. However, the EdenPURE scores dead last in Air-Purifiers-America.com’s test of air cleaners (though, to be fair, the site does say this machine is quiet and well designed). Air-Purifiers-America.com doesn’t recommend the EdenPURE for mold, and warns readers against using its ozone setting. The site has nothing to say about Biotech’s claim that the EdenPURE can actually remove odors from walls and furniture -- as with other ionizing air cleaners, it’s more likely that pollutants are settling on walls and furniture.

We were only able to find a couple of reviews of the Biotech EdenPURE Area Air Purifier, but fortunately, one of them is by Air-Purifiers-America.com -- which tests the EdenPURE’s performance in a small room and compares it to other air cleaners. There’s also a suspiciously positive "review" of the EdenPURE at CleanAirHouse.com, which we include to show how difficult it can be to find unbiased information about air purifiers.

Air-Purifiers-America.com tests air purifiers with a laser particle counter, which measures the air purifier’s ability to remove pollen, mold, dander and dust particles from the air. The Biotech EdenPURE Area Air Purifier comes in dead last in this site’s allergen-removal tests, though oddly enough, the editors have nicer things to say about this machine than some better-performing models. They don’t recommend the EdenPURE for odor removal, and discourage readers from using the ozone setting.

We don’t include this link because it’s particularly helpful, but because it shows how hard it can be to find unbiased information about air purifiers. The writer promises to cite some reviews of the EdenPURE air purifier, but relies solely on information from the manufacturer. Needless to say, the EdenPURE is described as the "ultimate purifier."
