This British consumer publication is much less enthusiastic about Dyson vacuums than other sources. This blurb says the Dyson DC11 All Floors Telescope has reliability issues, is not a great choice for pet owners. They also find it to be noisy and heavy. However, it does a "first-class" job on bare floors and is "excellent" at retaining allergens.
