What the reviewers like:
Thanks to its water-based tank system, the Rainbow e-series E2 canister vacuum can do a lot more than just vacuum carpets and bare floors. Also, Rainbow is among the most durable and reliable vacuum brands. What the reviewers don't like: Because of its water tank, the Rainbow weighs 32 pounds, much heavier than comparable canister vacuums. Reviewers say its does only a fair job on carpets, and that it can be noisy, but it's high price is the main issue. Rainbow e-series E2 review highlights Reviewers and owners have mixed reviews for the Rainbow e-series E2 canister vacuum. They like this vacuum's versatility: It can be used to dust plants and inflate rubber balls, as well as to clean. However, testing shows it to be noisy and not very effective at cleaning carpeting for its premium price. On the other hand, Rainbow vacuums do earn high marks for durability, being among the least repair-prone vacuum cleaners on the market. We found the largest number of reviews for the Rainbow e-series E2 at Epinions. Since this canister vacuum cleaner has been on the market since 2000, it's had time to amass over 200 owner-written write-ups. The Rainbow E2 is also tested by Consumer Reports, where it's compared against twenty other canister vacuums. The E2 even appears in a piece of short fiction written by someone who clearly appreciates this vacuum's versatility.
