What the reviewers like:
Thanks to its water-based tank system, the Rainbow e-series E2 canister vacuum can do a lot more than just vacuum carpets and bare floors. Also, Rainbow is among the most durable and reliable vacuum brands.

What the reviewers don't like:
Because of its water tank, the Rainbow weighs 32 pounds, much heavier than comparable canister vacuums. Reviewers say its does only a fair job on carpets, and that it can be noisy, but it's high price is the main issue.

Reviewers and owners have mixed reviews for the Rainbow e-series E2 canister vacuum. They like this vacuum's versatility: It can be used to dust plants and inflate rubber balls, as well as to clean. It isn't often that a vacuum cleaner appears as an overarching metaphor in a piece of fiction, but this short-short story was clearly written by someone who owns a Rainbow E2 canister vacuum. The Rainbow, says the writer, uses water, "nature's most powerful element (aside from love.)” In the end, the writer's wife is so impressed by the E2 that she runs off with the man who sold it to her.
