What the reviewers like:
The Thane H20 has been shown to do a good job of cleaning bare floors, and it does a nice job of controlling emissions. What the reviewers don’t like: Reviewers say that the Thane H20 does only a so-so job on carpeting and that it's noisy, difficult to handle and not great at cleaning with tools. Other canister vacuums get far better reviews. Thane H20 review highlights Neither reviewers nor owners have kind things to say about the Thane H2O canister vacuum, and other information we found isn't very encouraging. Testers comment that the Thane H20 is noisy, doesn't clean carpet very well and is poor at cleaning with tools -- though it did perform well on bare floors. Users are equally unsparing. Altogether, we didn't find many who recommend the Thane H20 over standard canister vacuum cleaners. Consumer Reports includes the Thane H20 water-based canister vacuum in its recent category roundup. We also found an interesting discussion about the Thane H20 on ShoppingTelly.com, a British site devoted to goods sold on TV. Unfortunately, this hard-to-find vacuum isn't the subject of owner reviews posted to Amazon.com or Epinions, and other reviews are thin.
