What the reviewers like:
The Black & Decker HV9010P Retriever Pet-Series hand vac is clearly aimed at pet owners, who appear to be its biggest fans. Many user reviews report that the turbo brush with rubber bristles does an excellent job of removing pet hair from both carpets and upholstery. The Black & Decker hand vacuum also gets good marks for its powerful motor and strong suction, and owners say they like the 20-foot power cord and included crevice tool. What the reviewers don't like: Not everyone likes the attachments that come with the Black & Decker HV9010P, and a couple of users say they find this hand vac awkward to use for bigger clean-ups. Black & Decker HV9010P review highlights User reviews of the Black & Decker HV9010P are very positive overall, with just over half giving this corded hand vac a perfect score. Mixed in with the positive comments are enough negative reviews to make the Black & Decker's overall rating lower than that of the competing Eureka 71A (*est. $50) corded hand vac.
