Hoover U8361-900 WindTunnel 2 review highlights

Overall, the bagless Hoover U8361-900 WindTunnel 2 fares poorly among owners and reviewers compared to its bagged sibling, the WindTunnel U8311-900. This vacuum performs well on carpeting and hard floors, but users say emptying its bin is a messy affair. Other reviews say the Hoover vacuum is noisy, and at 22 pounds it’s difficult to push. Vacuum Cleaners
Sara Schaefer Muñoz
Nov. 2006

Muñoz tests three bagless upright vacuum cleaners: Shark Infinity, Hoover WindTunnel 2 and Dyson Absolute DC17. Unfortunately, she doesn't say much about performance, beyond her opinion that all three vacuums "did a good job of sucking up spilled food and dirt."

Hoover WindTunnel2 Vacuum Cleaner
Ben Freedman and Tiffany Young
Nov. 2006

In this informative video review of the bagless Hoover Windtunnel 2, Ben Freedman praises this vacuum's Star Trek-style design, while the more nuts-and-bolts Tiffany Young calls the self-cleaning a "gimmick" because you still have to empty the dust bin by hand. They both agree that this vacuum is heavy and loud (as you can hear for yourself when they turn it on).
