Oster Classic Beehive Blender review highlights

Blenders may do well in tests, but the true measure of a blender is its performance over time. Reviewers indicate that the simple Oster Beehive blender, which has a switch that toggles between on, off, and pulse, holds up better than others in the long run. In fact, the main complaint we read was that it’s loud. Owners like the tapered 40-ounce glass jar, which not only funnels food to the blades but also pours well and doesn't absorb odors. While we found mixed reviews for many inexpensive blenders, the simple Oster Beehive gets more consistently good reviews as the best in its price range.

We read a single professional review of the Oster Classic Beehive in Cook's Illustrated, which has prepared the most rigorous evaluation of inexpensive blenders, evaluating models on their ability to chop ice and purée soup. Owners have posted numerous reviews of the Oster Beehive blender to Amazon.com, Epinions.com, and Cooking.com, so we were able to form a good assessment of its overall performance and reliability.
