The most credible professional reviews say that the Mega Mix does a good job crushing ice and making frozen drinks. Its performance on other tasks, including puréeing and grinding, is about average. Owners report, however, that the 48-ounce polycarbonate container doesn’t hold up, and owners and professional testers agree that this is one very loud machine.
