What the Reviewers Like:
Owners say the Cuisinart DLC-5 is easy to assemble and use, and it receives very positive feedback from owners posting to Amazon.com. The 7-cup size is nice for small families or singles, or just those with limited countertop space. What the Reviewers Don’t Like: Some owners say the Cuisinart DLC-5’s feed tube is too small; as an alternative, some suggest the same-capacity Cuisinart DLC-10S instead, which has a larger feed tube. Cuisinart DLC-5 review highlights Reviews indicate that the Cuisinart DLC-5 food processor does a good job at basic tasks. It appears to be a good choice for small- to medium-sized households. It has a smaller feed tube than its sibling, the Cuisinart DLC-10S food processor (*est. $100), which also comes with an instructional video. For those reasons, the 7-cup Cuisinart DLC-10S is the better pick in this size class. Consumer Reports has put the 7-cup Cuisinart DLC-5 through its rigorous tests in comparison with about 30 other full-size food processors. In addition, close to 100 owners posting to Amazon.com have reviewed the DLC-5, and we read a handful of reviews at Epinions and Cooking.com.
