What the Reviewers Like:
The Hamilton Beach ShortCut Micro Food Processor unit takes up little space on the countertop, and it doesn't cost much. What the Reviewers Don’t Like: Although we didn't find a huge number of comments, owner reviews aren't positive for the Hamilton Beach Short Cut chopper. In this price range, we found better ratings for some other mini choppers. Hamilton Beach ShortCut review highlights In owner-written reviews, we found complaints that the Hamilton Beach ShortCut chopper spits food onto the countertop, fails to chop food into uniform pieces, and clogs easily. Owners posting to Amazon.com say this mini food processor does not hold up well in the long run. Although it costs more, reviews say that the KitchenAid Chef's Chopper KFC3100 (*est. $40) offers better value. The Hamilton Beach ShortCut Micro Food Processor hasn't been professionally reviewed, but a handful of owners have posted reviews to Amazon.com and Epinions. Most owners say it's not a good value. We wish we'd seen this chopper reviewed at Consumer Reports or Cook's Illustrated, but we did find enough owner reviews to determine its relative value among other small choppers.
