What the Reviewers Like:
Reviewers praise KitchenAid KFC3100's cord storage, small countertop footprint and powerful motor, especially in this size class. What the Reviewers Don’t Like: A few owners wish this the KitchenAid KFC3100’s bowl was made of sturdier plastic. Some say pureeing isn't this choppers strong point. KitchenAid Chef's Chopper KFC3100 review highlights Mini food processors are handy for smaller tasks, such as chopping a handful of parsley or nuts Editors at Cook's Illustrated call the KitchenAid KFC31000 chopper the "best of the bunch" of mini food processors they tested. Although it doesn't come with extra blades and isn't designed for heavy-duty jobs such as making cookie or bread dough, it does a good job slicing and grating. In other reviews, the KitchenAid gets high marks all around for general chopping, and we found more positive owner reviews for this model than for choppers. Cook's Illustrated and Consumer Reports have both tested and compared the KitchenAid Chef’s Chopper KFC3100 to others in hands-on tests. Cook's Illustrated's review is more detailed and thorough, but Consumer Reports' testing is also credible. Both test the KitchenAid chopper alongside seven other mini choppers. Supporting the professional tests are over 100 owner-written reviews we found at Amazon.com and Epinions. Also see full report: Food Processors *In order of credibility (see our Ratings Criteria).1.
