(*est. $80) Compare Prices

This page is part of a larger ConsumerSearch report on Juicers which includes more reviews, analysis and a summary of the top-rated models.

What the Reviewers Like:
In reviews, the Waring PCJ218 juices as well or better than most other citrus presses, and it's heavier than most, so it won't slide around. It has a simple on/off switch, and it can run through bags of oranges or lemons without slowing.

What the Reviewers Don't Like:
The Waring PCJ218 Citrus Juicer is nearly a foot tall. The spout doesn't have a lock, so you need to keep a glass or pitcher under the spout, or you'll have a mess on your hands, reviews say.

Waring PCJ218 Citrus Juicer review highlights

At 10 pounds, the Waring is a couple of pounds heavier than most other citrus juicers, which makes it sturdy and stable. Owners say it's easy to use and clean. Its motor carries a much longer warranty than most – five years (most citrus juicers are guaranteed for a year). The Waring PCJ218 looks to be a good citrus press -- especially if you need something especially durable and stable -- but for about the same price, you can get the greater versatility of a juice extractor, such as the Breville Juice Fountain Compact (*est. $80).

Although the Waring PCJ218 Citrus Juicer has not been professionally reviewed, it has amassed more than two dozen reviews at Amazon.com and more than a dozen ratings at Cooking.com, giving some indication of its overall performance.
