(*est. $525) Compare Prices

This page is part of a larger ConsumerSearch report on Mixers which includes more reviews, analysis and a summary of the top-rated models.

What the Reviewers Like:
The Hamilton Beach CPM700 stand mixer has a sleek, commercial-style housing.

What the Reviewers Don’t Like:
Reviews say that the separate on/off switch is awkward, and this machine earned ratings of "fair" in mixing, kneading, and creaming tests. And it's pricey.

Hamilton Beach CPM700 review highlights

The Hamilton Beach CPM700 stand mixer stalled twice in professional tests, and its large bowl is said to be too big for a small amount of cream or eggs. Editors at Cook's Illustrated say that the mixer arm is poorly designed. With lower prices than the Hamilton Beach CPM700, the KitchenAid Professional 600 (*est. $350) and Cuisinart 5.5 Quart Stand Mixer (*est. $350) receive better reviews overall, and have received more feedback from owners.

The Hamilton Beach CPM700 stand mixer has been included in professional tests at Cook's Illustrated, but not at Consumer Reports. This 7-quart commercial stand mixer has not received any owner-written reviews at Epinions or Amazon.com, so gauging it overall owner satisfaction is difficult.
