Babolat Aeropro Drive review highlights

We found the best reviews of the Babolat AeroPro Drive at Tennis-Warehouse.com, a retailer with both staff and customer reviews. Tennis Magazine's reviews don't seem to favor any specific brand, either, but its reviews are far shorter than those at Tennis-Warehouse.com. Inside Tennis magazine also posts an informative review.

The Babolat AeroPro Drive is an 11.3-ounce tennis racket for advanced baseline players; it's not a beginner racket. This is Rafael Nadal's racket of choice, and its strength is in ground strokes. Editors at Tennis Magazine note that the Babolat can be "jarring if you miss the sweet spot," but add that this racket is not designed for players who miss the sweet spot. If you're primarily a volleyer rather than a baseliner, the Head Flexpoint Radical Oversize (*est. $110) gets better reviews, and if you're on the low end of advanced, the Prince O3 Speedport Red (*est. $220) is lighter and is also one of reviewers' favorites.

Racket Review '05
Richard Osborn
May 2005

This magazine doesn't rank the 18 rackets it reviews, and there aren't any negative comments. Reviewer Richard Osborn says the AeroPro Drive's aerodynamics improve head speed, and its "maneuverability, power and control will help baseline bashers dictate play."

4. Tennis Warehouse (Australia)

The handful of customer comments here are all raves. Most owners say they prefer the Babolat to their previous rackets, although one says you should replace its strings.
